Due to their technical properties, epoxy resins are also used to perform minor repairs in professional usesal, for handicraft work and for DIY jobs. This includes modelling clays, putties, casting resins and two-component adhesives.

Unfortunately, many operating instructions do not give sufficient information about potential health risks and the protective measures required. Occasionally, the products are even shown in demo videos without the use of protective measures, resulting in the users not being aware of the risks associated with the product.

However: In order to especially prevent the risk of allergic skin diseases, protective equipment should always be used when working with these kinds of epoxy resin products! Select suitable gloves from the BG BAU recommendations and wear protective goggles when there is a risk of splashing/spraying.
