MEGAPHYS- Development of a compendium of methods for the analysis of the risks induced by physical exposures – A cooperative study of BAuA and DGUV

A comprehensive portfolio of methods will be collated within the intended cooperative study, enabling an adequate risk assessment in occupational settings. The spectrum of methods will be broadened with respect to load mode, and the state of knowledge regarding the relationships between load and overload, on the one hand, and complaints and diseases of the primarily affected body regions, on the other hand, will be described and improved.


Analysis of the international datapool similar to the HVBG compendium 1995, data update to The Dortmund Recommendations, development of a lumbar-load register regarding branch-specific activities, coupling the systems CUELA and The Dortmunder, biomechanically substantiated evaluation of established screening tools, criteria for measured-data protocols, shop-floor measurements for evaluating the screening tools, enhancing the lumbar-load register by interbranch activities.
