By December 31, abstracts can be submitted for the "Working on safety"-Congress 2019 in Vienna. From 23rd to 26th of September, attendees will discuss digitalisation, risk assessment, safety management systems and Vision Zero.
(13.11.2018) - Prof. Dr. Joachim Breuer (DGUV) signed a Memorandum of Understanding together with Dr. Avneesh Singh, the Director General of the Directorate General Factory Advice Service and Labour Institutes (DGFASLI). The Memorandum lays the foundation for further cooperation in the field of occupational health and safety.
The risk of suffering an occupational accident in trade and industry and in the public sector fell once again last year. This can be seen from the accounts and statistics of the German Social Accident Insurance Institutions.
(13.07.2018) - High-ranking visit to DGUV headquarters in Berlin on 10 July 2018: The Minister for Human Resources and Social Security (MoHRSS) of the Government of the People's Republic of China, ZHANG Jinan, met with General Director of DGUV, Dr Joachim Breuer, to discuss current topics of social security.
The question of which role social protection can play as a solution to counteract the causes of flight and migration in a sustainable manner is the subject of the study titled "Social Protection as an alternative to migration?" which was initiated by the German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV).
