We are pleased to be able to offer you version 2.1.1 Build 2 of our free SISTEMA software ready for download. This build corrects known bugs and issues, a.o.:

• The option 'Deactivate the automatic version check...' had not been implemented correctly: The automatic check was only active in version 2.1.0.5 when the option was set, which is why you were not informed about current updates and known errors. The problem has been fixed.
• In addition there was an error message for operating systems in which the point is defined as a decimal separator. This problem has also been fixed.

All changes, adjustments and fixed errors are described in the readme file. The readme is displayed in SISTEMA by clicking on the "Projects" folder in the tree view of the navigation window.

Notes on the revision of the EN ISO 13849-1 standard

The 4th revision of the EN ISO 13849-1:2023-12 standard is available. SISTEMA 2.x is still based on EN/ISO 13849-1:2015. With SISTEMA 3.0, we will publish a version based on the 4th revision (probably in the second or third quarter of 2024).

We have published an overview on the most important new features of the 4th edition of DIN EN ISO 13849-1. You can find this document and other information on the topic on our "DIN EN ISO 13849" website.

Our new SOFTEMA software, a tool for project planning and documentation of safety-related application software on machines (SRASW), has also been available since last year. This tool is currently only available in a German version, an English version is in preparation. Further information can be found on the SOFTEMA homepage (in German only).
