EU-Project Guidelines for preventing falls from a height

Aims:

High accident rates and heavy injuries; harmonizing European regulations and recommendings.

Activities/Methods:

Collection and analysis of regulations, standards and publications in 15 European member states; development, common optimization and evaluation of guidelines; translation of the guidelines into all EU-Languages; publication.

Results:

Practical guidelines for preventing falls from a height, representing validity, conditions and regulations for measures against falling from a height as actually regulated in all EU member states.
