lidA Study - retaining older workers safely and healthy in working life

Aims:

The aim of the lidA study conducted by the University of Wuppertal is to investigate the long-term effects of work on health and employment in an ageing workforce, from an interdisciplinary point of view. Since 2011, workers born in 1959, 1965 and, since recently, also 1971 have been interviewed. The project investigates aligned issues related to work and employment among older workers, including age-appropriate work design.

Activities/Methods:

The University of Wuppertal publishes the findings of the aligned research issues by means of public workshops, publications and presentations.
