International Training - Good Work Worldwide

Health and Safety at work is no longer a matter of national concern alone. The economy is going global, and safety standards must follow suit. The IAG offers tailor-made international training within the framework of the G7 Vision Zero Fund. Our aim is to contribute to higher safety standards and sustainable global supply chains, to improve workplace safety in emerging countries and industries and to make working conditions worldwide more humane.

Our international training courses are customised as part of our alliance with the International Social Security Association (ISSA) and the International Labour Organization (ILO). The IAG in Dresden is one of the leading training institutes in occupational safety and health (OSH) and the only ISSA-accredited training institution in Germany.

Target group

The international training programmes share a tripartite stakeholder perspective. Target groups are government representatives and labour inspectors, OSH experts and trainers and employers’ and workers’ representatives.

Sustainable Approach

All of our training includes Train the Trainer elements, which help participants to produce hands-on action plans for the implementation of OSH elements as well as concrete follow-up procedures and which equip the participants to train others when they return.

Consulting Experience

The IAG has a wealth of experience in international training with partners in many countries including Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Chile, China, Korea, Mongolia, Pakistan, Russia, Turkey as well as national and international organisations such as ILO, ISSA, GIZ and GVG.

Practical facilities

Much of the subject-matter taught on the seminars can be experienced directly in the IAG practical facilities. This practice-oriented component helps participants to bridge the gap between the seminar content and their workplaces.

Certificate

At the end of the seminar, participants receive a certificate of attendance from the German Social Accident Insurance.

Fees

The course fees are calculated individually, depending upon the scope and duration of the course and the work involved.
