International Seminar Programme
Health and Safety at work is no longer a matter of national concern alone. The economy is going global, and safety standards must follow suit. With our international programme, we offer training and seminars for international occupational health and safety experts. Our aim is to contribute to higher safety standards and to make working life worldwide more humane.
SeminarsDepending upon your training requirements, we can offer courses in any of the below mentioned fields of expertise. Through close consultation, we can help you to identify the right seminar for your target group and – if necessary – to adapt it to your particular training needs.
Typical seminar topics
Typical topics of our seminars include occupational health and safety management systems, prevention of
occupational accidents, and teaching methodologies for trainers in occupational health and safety. As the Institute has
an active research department, the seminars include the latest research findings. Our specific expertise lies in the
areas of:
Ergonomics
Risk assessment and hazard factors
Evaluation of prevention measures
Road safety Work organization Demographic change Teaching methodologies and skill development for OSH trainersGood-practice facilities
Much of the subject-matter taught on the courses can be experienced directly. This practice-oriented component
helps participants to bridge the gap between the seminar content and their workplaces.
Training of multipliers
One focus of the international seminar programme is the training of multipliers. Since you may only be able to send
some of your experts to Dresden, we can design the course in order to equip your experts to train others when they
return.
Certificate of attendance
At the end of every course, participants receive a certificate of attendance from the German Social Accident
Insurance.
Fees
The course fees are calculated individually, depending upon the scope and duration of the course and the work
involved.
