Test diagnostics

How can scientific tests be applied to occupational safety and health?
What tests exist for recruitment? And what's the difference between the quiz-type tests you find in women's
magazines and scientific test methods? In the practical facility for test diagnostics, participants can find out more
about these and other questions concerning all aspects of psychological diagnostics using standardised test
methods.
There are also various stations at which visitors can try out different tests for themselves. For instance, a short
concentration test to establish how well they can concentrate on a particular task and how many and what type of errors
they make. One example of where concentration tests are used is in the selection of employees whose work requires a
high level of concentration, e.g. air-traffic controllers or drivers of heavy-goods/public-transport vehicles. At
another station, participants can do a computer-aided test on work-related behaviour and perceptions.
The entire range of more than 70 psychological tests available at the IAG is contained in the IAG test manual. Tests
and questionnaires can be assessed both for use in seminars and on research and consulting projects.
