The Institute for Occupational Safety and Health of the German Social Accident Insurance (IFA) makes every effort to ensure that its website is accessible in accordance with the provisions of the German Federal Disability Discrimination and General Equal Treatment Act (BGG) and the Barrier-free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0) implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102.
This accessibility declaration (last amended: 22 June 2021) applies to the version of the Software for the selection of hearing protectors currently available on the Internet (https://www.dguv.de/ifa/praxishilfen/noise/gehoerschutz/software-gehoerschutz-auswahlprogramm/index.jsp).
The accessibility requirements arise from Sections 3 (1) to (4) and 4 of the BITV 2.0, which was adopted pursuant to Section 12d of the BGG.
Review of compliance with the requirements is based on an internal assessment conducted on 22 June 2021.
Owing to the amendments and testing currently in progress, the web application doesn’t comply with the requirements referred to above.
The web application ‘Software for the selection of hearing protectors’ is currently being revised to bring it into line with the requirements. Upon completion of these amendments, a WCAG test will be performed and the results of the test will be published here.
We are currently working on the processes required for continual improvement of the information provided by the Institute for Occupational Safety and Health of the German Social Accident Insurance (IFA) with respect to digital accessibility.
This declaration was produced on 22 June 2021.
