Light curtains
Light curtains are used on machinery and plant in order to protect the fingers and hands and to safeguard danger zones. With the support of the Institute for Occupational Safety and Health of the German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV) (IFA), the Section Machine and System Safety of the International Social Security Association (ISSA) has produced a leaflet describing the main functions of light curtains and addressing the necessary function tests in practical use.
