IFA-tested products and firms with the IFA QM Certificate

IFA conducts tests according to the German Product Safety Act [Produktsicherheitsgesetz - ProdSG] as well as the EC directives on personal protective equipment (PPE) and on machinery. IFA tests and certifies products and quality management systems according to the PPE directive. The products and firms certified by IFA can be researched online in the DGUV Test database. Along with the other arguments you enter into the search form (e.g.: using the index of tested products), select IFA or BGIA (the former acronym of the institute) in the search field for "Test and Certification Body".

In addition, positive lists of the tested products are published in the IFA manual () "Health and safety at the workplace" [Sicherheit und Gesundheitsschutz am Arbeitsplatz] published by the Erich Schmidt Verlag.
