If a special aspect of a product has been tested, a DGUV Test mark with an additional text is awarded.
Comprehensive type testing and testing and certification of specific aspects
If a specific aspect of a product has been tested, in addition to the type as a whole, the DGUV Test mark contains the additional text plus the words "safety tested".
DGUV Test mark with additional text (possibly without comprehensive type testing)
This DGUV Test mark is awarded when only one aspect of a product has been tested. In these cases, comprehensive type testing was not included in the testing and certification but it may have been carried out as part of the testing for the GS mark.
