Aims:

Validation of a modified SHE (Le Boeuf) for sensitive and specific assessment of carcinogenic potential of aromatic amine compounds.

Activities/Methods:

Experiments, reproduction of the reported tests of Le Boeuf (five carcinogenic, five non-carcinogenic AA)

Results:

Testing of five cancerogenic and five non-cancerogenic aromatic amine compounds proved suitability and validity of the pH 6.7 SHE-Assay for screening.
