IFA testing according to the PPE directive

Tests and certification is conducted on the basis of the "Prüf- und Zertifizierungsordnung der Prüf- und Zertifizierungsstellen im DGUV Test" ["Rules of Procedure for Testing and Certification carried out by the Testing and Certification Bodies in DGUV Test" BGG 902], available as a brochure from the DGUV Publication Database.

The order forms for ordering a testing and/or certification from IFA, as well as the standard contracts between customers and IFA, are available for download.

You can fill out the forms online by using the tabulator key to move from one data entry field to the next, and then print out the completed form when finished. If you would also like to save a copy of the forms, you need to have Acrobat Writer (Acrobat Reader software alone will not work to do this). Save the desired forms on your computer first and fill them out afterwards.

Please send the order as a single copy along with two copies of the appropriate contract forms - be sure to provide your signature where needed - to

In case an EU type-test is ordered with the issue of an EU type-test certificate, then a statement must also be provided which you can fill out in the manner described.

The test principles are listed (in German only), and the test methods are described in detail within them; individual principles are available for download; the same applies to the general information for PPE manufacturers.
