Accompanying test of hygienically relevant micro-organisms during soil redevelopment on the site of the Sächsische Olefinwerke AG in Böhlen
Sector: waste management
Type of hazard: biological agents
Catchwords: risk assessment, biological working substances, limit value
Status: completed 01/1996
Financed by: Tiefbau-Berufsgenossenschaft, München
Research institution(s): ContraCon GmbH, München
Description, key words:
Risks during biological soil redevelopment and work protection regulations
Aims:
Amongst other things limit values and parameters must be established during the application of biological redevelopment methods for work in contaminated areas. Goal: determining the potential hazards for employees working in contaminated areas using biological redevelopment methods.
Activities/methods:
Pathogenic micro-organisms appearing during site sanitation will be determined both qualitatively and quantitatively at a selected site (Sächsische Olefinwerke AG in Böhlen) where mixed contamination frequently occurs. From this the corresponding potential hazards for employees will then be derived.
Results:
Basis of assessment of risks by microorganisms during biological soil redevelopment
