Glove with "manufacturer's information" pictogram

Example:

The "open book" pictogram indicates that important data must be consulted in the manufacturer's information, for example concerning the resistance to individual chemicals or formulations.

The markings, pictograms and combinations of letters are intended to facilitate selection; in practice however, it is essential that further data be obtained from the manufacturer's information. A pictogram (of an open book) is therefore used to indicate that important information must be read in the manufacturer's information, for example concerning the resistance to particular chemicals or formulations. Only here are the performance levels stated which the protective glove has reached in the tests against the pure chemicals or formulations.

In accordance with DIN EN 420, the manufacturer's information also includes information on the available sizes and if applicable on finger mobility (dexterity) within the glove. Manufacturers must also state whether materials which are known to be able to trigger allergies were used during manufacture of the protective glove.
