The European Forum of the Insurance against Accidents at Work and Occupational Diseases currently represents 21 national organizations of insurers against accidents at work and occupational diseases from 19 countries since its foundation in 1992.

The European FORUM promotes the core concerns and principles of the insurance against accidents at work and occupational diseases. The members exchange information on issues of prevention, rehabilitation and compensation for accidents at work and occupational diseases, as well as on the organization and financing of statutory accident insurance schemes. In addition, the Forum is the point of contact at European and international level for issues relating to the insurance against accidents at work and occupational diseases. The Presidency changes every year.

The Forum organizes a conference once a year.

The Forum publishes the professional journal "FORUM news".

The annual conference of the European Forum of the Insurance against Accidents at Work and Occupational Diseases will take place from 15 to 17 June 2021 as a virtual event.

We, the German Social Accident Insurance, have the honor to hold the Presidency of the European Forum for another year and to welcome you to the virtual event with the title “The future is now: Advancing Accident Insurance in Europe”.
