Ventilation and air-conditioning poster wins award
A presentation of the findings of research that compared rapid tests used to determine the bacteria level in ventilation and air-conditioning units has been awarded a prize by the Society of Hygiene, Environmental and Public Health Sciences.

Revised paper on assembly of machinery

DGUV Test awards first certificate for “Accredited Blended Learning Software for Health and Safety Protection in the Workplace”
The Institute for Work and Health of the German Social Accident Insurance (IAG) has certified the interactive training course “Loading Safety” by the Universum publishing house. This is the first time that an electronic learning aid has been certified as accredited “Blended Learning Software for Health and Safety Protection in the Workplace”.
Wood working machine tools
With the publication of the updated inspection principles "Wood working machine tools GS-HO-13", the Inspection and Certification Centre of the Technical Committee on Wood within DGUV Test has created a basis for inspection that will permit the inspection of clamps for wood working machine tools.
Survey regarding QM Standard ISO 9001
A broad-based survey is currently in progress regarding the Quality Management System Standard ISO 9001, the international original of DIN EN ISO 9001. This survey involves not only a potential improvement to the existing Standard, but also represents a fundamental crossroads in determining the future structure of the ISO 9000 family of standards, the effect of which will carry through to the year 2020.
BG-PRÜFZERT becomes DGUV Test
Starting 1 July, BG-PRÜFZERT will take on a new corporate identity that makes its membership in the employers’ statutory insurance and accident prevention funds, and German social accident insurance funds more apparent. Its certificates and publications will be given a new, more modern look.
