In 2010 the employers’ statutory insurance and accident prevention funds in Germany and the umbrella association for German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV) adopted a new, joint corporate image. The central element is the blue logo.
Since 1 July 2010, BG-PRÜFZERT has also assumed a new corporate identity that underlines its membership in the statutory accident insurance and prevention institutions. As a result, the certificates it issues and its publications have been given a new, modern look.
Ever since the merging of the umbrella association for German Social Accident Insurance and the Central Federation of Company Accident Insurance Funds, DGUV Test has no longer been affiliated only with statutory company accident insurance. This change is reflected in our new name: DGUV Test.
The new name emphasizes our core competence: thorough testing of products used in the workplace for occupational health and safety. If a product has any defects that detract from its safety, we will discover them. For manufacturers, this is an excellent way to improve their products. The certification and test marks we issue are a proven marketing tool, aiding consumers in making purchasing decisions.
No changes for our customers
All prior certificates and contracts retain their validity. Since 1 September 2010, we only issue test marks with our new name and logo. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Secretariat or your usual contact person at our Testing and Certification Bodies.
