Principles of research: Prevention - Occupational Diseases - Rehabilitation
Objectives - strategies - foci
The anniversary "One century of BG research", celebrated in 2005, gave impetus to develop principles of research
initiated by the German institutions for statutory accident insurance and prevention. They were adopted in October 2005
by the Board of the BGs' federation HVBG.
The principles were first intended to apply to the field of prevention; they were then extended to cover also research
into occupational diseases and rehabilitation. The principles:
- define the objectives of research,
- illuminate the general orientation,
- describe characteristic features, particularities and framework conditions
- outline the interaction with other functions and
- specify foci and priorities.
The principles of research can be downloaded.
